These past days have been filled with online shopping & most of all online "window shopping" for me. For some unknown reasons, the one thing I always end up wanting to buy even though I'm sure they will sit in my closet without me wearing them, are scarfs! I always had a thing for scarfs, but in the region I live it would be a waste of money to buy them, but I think this fascination started again on ASOS, with this really cute River Island's leopard scarf!!
They are the cutest things, and how they are styled/presented totally makes me want to buy them.
The thing about scarfs is that you can wear them in different ways and they are available in almost every single color, pattern and/or print. They are definitely a great way to add color to an outfit. The best part is it doesn't need to be cold outside for you to have an excuse to wear one, although you would be crazy to wear one if it was freaking hot outside, but then again it depends on how you wear it.
Scarfs can be easily worn with almost any outfit, it doesn't matter if you are wearing a simple shirt, a blazer, heels or flats, jeans, pants or short. It is all about how you wear it/style it to not over do it!! The following pictures should give you a view of what I'm talking about...

And remember that sometimes it is not about finding the perfect scarf, but about finding the perfect fabric to make a scarf. DIY projects like this never killed anyone before. (right?)
