I Do...... Love That Gown!

Growing up, every girl dreams of that day, their own fairy tale wedding. The most amazing venue, surrounded by loved ones, the perfect man....and most essential of all, the perfect gown. At least that was my case.

To me, a wedding gown is more than just the dress you wear on that big they. Wedding gowns represents this state of serenity, joy and fulfillment. Your dress should reflect everything you feel on that day.

The past weekend in New York City, top designers showcased their Spring/Summer 2014 Collections during the semi-annual Bridal Market. After seeing the collections, I'm still wondering why there aren't other occasions where you can wear a wedding gown. In the meantime I give you my favorite styles from the collections I've seen so far....

Beyonce x H&M Summer 2013 Campaign!

Beyonce's summer 2013 ad campaign for H&M has been revealed, and the pictures are STUNNING to say the least. It seems like Mrs. Carter is making 2013 her year. Her Super Bowl performance, her autobiography film Life Is But a Dream, her Pepsi commercials, this H&M Campaign and recently starting her world tour. I don't think this year can get any better for her! These were my three favorites from the campaign. The colors are just amazing on her!

It's Giveaway Time! [closed]

First of all I want to apologize for being absent lately. I've been so busy with other aspects of my life that I didn't have much time to sit down and work on blogs. But in the mean time I was working on a couple of giveaways for you guys. Since I didn't get to do a giveaway in January for my blog's first anniversary, I was hoping to do a couple of give aways throughout this year. So hopefully this will be the first one of many.

Today April 4th 2013, marks the 85th birthday of this phenomenal woman called Maya Angelou, also referred to as Dr. Angelou. "She is one of the most renowned and influential voices of our time. Hailed as a global renaissance woman, Dr. Angelou is a celebrated poet, memoirist, novelist, educator, dramatist, producer, actress, historian, filmmaker, and civil rights activist."

"Still I Rise" was the first poem by Maya Angelou that I ever heard and I was instantly amazed. This led me to searching more about her. She has a voice you cannot get enough of and how she put words together is just unexplainable. She is truly one phenomenal and inspiring human being. Therefore I wanted to share two of my favorite poems by her with you today.
